Spent a number of hours yesterday at the RennFest. The usual suspect abounded and I captured a few I thought interesting. The guy below was a member of a band that was playing Celtic music out in the public area.

| Mayhaps something is amiss! |
The band below, Albannach, is from Scotland and they were absolutely incredible! Mostly drum driven with a single Piper, they brought the house down.

The Jousting is always fun. I was trying some new techniques to capture it and am relatively happy with the pics. Note the guys lance after just being hit in the second picture!

| Medieval maiden with her Gryphon and cellphone |
I couldn't resist the above pic. I went back to ask her about the Gryphon on her shoulder and caught her on the phone. She was very good natured about my asking her to hold that pose! The Gryphon is a small puppet and she could control its head and some movement with a device she held in her hand. It was quite amazing how "alive" it looked!
Love, love, LOVE the cell phone and the gryphon! These are all really good shots!
